What You Get

All members receive the newsletter News&Views and a choice of the Society's periodical journals: The Maryland Naturalist or The Bulletin of the Maryland Herpetological Society. We also periodically hold informal gatherings where members of a number of organizations with a wide range of interests can meet and talk about nature.

How You Are Helping

The Natural History Society of Maryland has long been a place where naturalists could meet and discuss current issues, swap stories about trips and experiences, and learn about nature through walks, lectures and publications. We are focusing on building a community of concerned naturalists, taking care and making use of our natural history collections, and creating a place that will become the hub of natural history collections and education for the State of Maryland.

By becoming a member you not only contribute financially, but you also show your support for our mission to build this community. This is very important in securing grants and support from private and governmental institutions. With your support we can make The Maryland Naturalist Center a reality!
