Life Membership

At $750.00 per individual, Life Membership in the Natural History Society of Maryland is a great deal. At current prices, it pays for itself in 30 years - and there's no doubt that the price of individual and family memberships will go up during that time. You will also receive our newsletter News&Views and a choice of the Society's periodical journals: The Maryland Naturalist or The Bulletin of the Maryland Herpetological Society. And there's the possibility of having access to a natural history museum in the Society's future!

But the most rewarding part of becoming a life member is that your entire membership fee is placed in the Erana Lubbert Endowment Fund. This fund was established on February 11th, 1998 by the Board of Directors to provide for the continued existence and growth of the Society and to serve as a vehicle for the establishment and development of a natural history museum in the state of Maryland. So while you receive all the benefits of a regular member for the rest of your life, plus participate in special events held for major contributors, you are also contributing to the building of a natural history museum in Maryland.
