PublicationsThe Natural History Society of Maryland began publishing shortly after it was established. The precursor to our current natural history journal, The Maryland Naturalist, first appeared in 1930, and The Bulletin of the Maryland Herpetological Society began in 1965. Other publications include occasional Proceedings and a series of nature leaflets for school use. Our periodical newsletter, News&Views, contains announcements of lectures and other scheduled activities, notes about members, and short articles about natural history facts.
