NHSM is partnering with Digital Maryland, the statewide digital preservation program of the Enoch Pratt Free Library and Maryland State Library Resource Center. This project will see hundreds of NHSM archival materials scanned and published on Digital Maryland’s free, open-access platform.
Have fun browsing photos from the adventures of the organization’s many naturalists or contribute directly to NHSM’s work by transcribing hand-written ledgers and notes! Using FromThePage, a crowdsourcing platform, volunteers can transcribe, index, and describe documents from the history of our collections. Help us understand our specimens better and enrich the searchability of online resources for researchers and amateurs alike!
