Join like-minded people who share your scientific curiosity. The Natural History Society of Maryland currently sponsors several clubs that meet on a monthly basis: Fossils, Herpetology (reptiles and amphibians), Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths), and Archaeology. Participants of all ages and knowledge levels are welcome. Club meetings are a great way to socialize while observing specimens and digging deeper into an aspect of natural history. Meetings sometimes include special presentations by notable researchers or trips to the field.

- Fossil Club meets the first Wednesday of each month
- Herp Club meets the second Wednesday of each month
- Archaeology Club meets the third Wednesday of each month
- Lep Club meets the fourth Wednesday of each month

Membership
Come check out a club meeting! When you decide to become a club member, membership to NSHM is required. An additional club fee of $5 for individuals and $10 for families per club is required annually. This additional fee allows us to create special educational materials for club members, and to supply food and beverages for meetings.
