Animal Origami, A Personal Paper Menagerie

 , ,

For the Family Special Event

The earliest forms of art created by man were images and sculptures of their animal neighbors. Animals continue to serve as artistic muses for humans. Stretch your art muscles as you create a personal paper menagerie using the ancient art of origami where each series of folds will unfold a new animal including, dinosaur, shark, butterfly, crane, frog, and bear. Each week the projects will get more complex, adding new folds and techniques. All ages are welcomed. Spaces are limited.

Online interactive lessons will be led by origami enthusiast Mason Strong. Mason is an 8th grade student at Hereford Middle School. Mason is excited to support NHSM while earning community service credits for school and Boy Scouts by sharing his passion for origami.

Fee is for the entire 4-week Program. (Nov 8,15,22,29)

NHSM Members $15

Non-Members $20
