Lectures & Workshops Special Event

The Baltimore Bird Club and NHSM have teamed up for this special program.

Learn about the behavior, characteristics, and ecology of birds filmed in the Maryland area. Discover birds found at different forest levels —ground floor, shrub layer, understory, and canopy.  Examine the human impact on birds and measures needed to reverse their decline. This interactive and engaging workshop will also include the opportunity to identify birds shown on video clips using field guides.

Join us in person (spaces are limited) at the Natural History Society of Maryland’s Museum in Overlea (You will be required to follow NHSM COVID Protocols) or join online via Zoom. While this opportunity is free, spaces are limited for the in=person option. If your plans change, please let us know so that your space may be made available to another.
