Join us under the stars as we watch the classic novel My Side of the Mountain come to life on the big screen! This special outdoor screening of the 1969 film adaptation of Jean Craighead George’s beloved book follows the unforgettable journey of Sam Gribley, a boy who leaves city life behind to live in the wilderness.
🔥 We’ll have a cozy fire pit and all the fixings for s’mores – perfect for setting the scene as we immerse ourselves in Sam’s wild adventure.
🌲 As a special treat, Twig George, daughter of Jean Craighead George and author in her own right, will be joining us for a live Q&A after the film. Come with your questions and your curiosity!
